Anna was raised in the home of her elder brother Michael who became an actor. Anna Kendrick began auditioning for Broadway productions at the age of ten. At the age of 12, she landed her first big part in the stage when she was a part of the group of High Society in 1998. She was a talented young actor and received numerous awards and nominations. Kendrick was nominated for the performance, as well as her role in Rocket Science 2007 at age 15.
