Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16, she was able to rise up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability was able to take down McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO during the second round. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd was victorious in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was lost by majority verdict.
